<br />Bakje heeft het formaat van een ma Donald's frietje. 
<br />Wijnen geprijsd als in een top restaurant.</p>

      <p>Onlangs gegeten maar de saté was erg gekruid en de begeleidende frites waren niet echt vers (?!).

      <p>Eigenaar/ober is een botte batavier. "Mogen we een dessert" ...  "Nae ich kom noe de drenkskes noteren."
<br />Eigenaar en personeel hebben geen verstand van goed gastheerschap. Dranken worden met een ongeinteresseerde knal neergeppot. De echte waard draait liefdevol het logo naar de gast. De keuken is middelmatig en draait vrijwel uitsluitend op sate en spareribs. Ambiance is redelijk maar erg krap.</p>

      <p>Begin december wilde ik hier met mijn vriendin uiteten. Vooraf gebeld of er een tafeltje voor 2 beschikbaar was: geen probleem. Bij binnenkomst was er niemand die ons begroette. We hebben even gewacht, maar na aarzelen zijn we toch maar uit onszelf aan een lege tafel gaan zitten. Enkele minuten later werd ons door iemand, die ik nota bene bij binnenkomst voor in de zaak had zien staan, op onvriendelijke manier duidelijk gemaakt dat die tafel gereserveerd was en dat we er niet mochten zitten. Ik merkte op dat ik niet wist dat hij er werkte en het anders even gevraagd had, maar werd daarop afgesnauwd. Vervolgens uitgelegd dat ik had gebeld, maar we moesten maar aan de bar wachten tot er een tafel vrij kwam. Jammer, maar wij zijn weggelopen.</p>

      <p>Het is daar heel erg mooi zitten en het eten was ook prima. Het was heerlijk daar totdat de eigenaar kwam... niet aardig, arrogant en onbeschoft tegen klanten en tegen zijn personeel. Het zijn de kleine dingen die het doen... nou dus bij deze, ik kom niet meer terug!</p>

      <p>Gisteren bij Fauborg St. Jacques saté gaan eten omdat we hier al van veel mensen goede verhalen over hadden gehoord. Kort samengevat; de saté was echt heerlijk. Vond persoonlijk alleen voor het bedrag (€16,95-) de hoeveelheid beetje karig; 3 saté stokjes, beetje salade en met z'n vieren moesten we bakje friet delen. Kwamen wel nog vragen voor nieuwe friet.
<br />Vond het personeel op het terras niet heel attent qua vragen voor drinken, maar service was op zich best ok. Al met al een leuke kroeg en eetgelegenheid met mooi uitzicht over de drukke Roerkade.</p>

      <p>Eten is goed en op smaak (op voorgerecht, standaard stokbroodje, na). Maar de bediening en service is een ramp. Het was vrij warm binnen, en we hebben 3x moeten vragen of we een drankje konden bestellen, en daarna lang wachten op de drankjes. Het hoofdgerecht hebben we daarom ook zonder drankjes moeten doen. 1 gerecht was vergeten, kan gebeuren, maar dat de bediening dan de gast de schuld geeft kan echt niet! Blamage en hele slechte gastheer. Was vroeger beter. Gastheer gooit ook nog per ongeluk een (bijna leeg) glas rosé om met een vlek in de kleren als gevolg, kan gebeuren, maar om dat ook weer af te reageren op ons / gasten, schandalig. Zelfs geen excuses. Helaas, nooit meer.</p>

      <p>De lekkerste ribkes van Roermond en omgeving. De sfeer is er geweldig, echter als je houd van een nep gemaakte lach en een stok in je r..t moet je hier niet zijn. Dit is een mensenmens restaurant waar de gerechten en het personeel inclusief eigenaar nog authentiek zijn. Kom er al ruim 10 jaar en is nog steeds mijn favoriet. Menig keer met tranen over m'n wangen hier vandaan gegaan, het blijft leuk. Een toppertje!!</p>

      <p>Wat een topzaak!</p>

<p>We zijn er al verschillende keren gaan eten en ondertussen hebben we ook vrienden en kennissen meegenomen ,ze vonden het eten allemaal super,heerlijk biefstuk en spareribs  en we zullen zeker terug blijven komen.</p>

      <p>Zeer teleurstellende ervaring. Ober was ronduit onvriendelijk tegen een paar Duitse gasten die binnen kwamen. De drankjes worden geschonken in de kleinste glazen die te vinden zijn, zowel voor frisdrank als bier. Het eten is toeristenklasse van lage kwaliteit. Dikke melige friet met kruidenmengseltje eroverheen, varkens satee was taai en het vlees donker van kleur. Niet voor herhaling vatbaar.</p>

      <p>Tijdens het Paasweekend 2013 twee maal gegeten in dit eetcafé en het was super! Het eten was verrukkelijk en de gastvrijheid heel gezellig. De tweede avond werden we verwend met oude muziekvideo's waarbij we ook nog heerlijk mochten dansen. Zo zie je maar, ook dit is mogelijk in Aetkefee Faubourg St. Jacques. Peter, Kevin en de rest van de crew: heel erg bedankt voor twee fantastische avonden met Roermondse gezelligheid. Jullie krijgen van ons een dikke 10!</p>

      <p>Complimenten aan de kok, eten is goed van smaak en leuk opgediend. Helaas geen hulde aan de eigenaar, als je niet van Roermond bent kan er geen glimlach vanaf. Wat een arrogantie!</p>

      <p>Leuk eetcafe in Roermond. Simpele inrichting op een mooie locatie. De sate en de spareribs zijn mals en erg lekker. De service kan inderdaad wat professioneler maar daar vielen wij niet over. Absoluut een aanrader!</p>

      <p>Voor ons de eerste en zeker niet de laatste keer dat we bij het team van Peter en Jolanda op bezoek kwamen. Hun warme persoonlijkheden stralen over naar hun zeer gezellige bruine eetcafe en terras. Doe daarbij een zeer vriendelijke en attente bediening en werkelijk fantastisch eten, en je avond kan niet meer kapot. Eetcafe Faubourg overstijgt in onze ogen het gemiddelde nivo in deze sector.</p>

<p>We gaan zoals gezegd zeer zeker nog eens terug. De kaart bevatte nl. te veel lekkers om het maar bij 1 bezoek te laten. Echt goedkoop is het niet, maar onze rekening (gemiddeld 40 euro per persoon inclusief drank) is niet ongewoon vandaag de dag. Je krijgt er ontzettend veel voor terug. We kijken met z`n allen terug op een geweldige avond.</p>

<p>Iedereen die houdt van oerdegelijke Limburgse gezelligheid in een warme omgeving en een lekker hapje en drankje moet hier zeer zeker naar toe. En dan hebben we het nog niet eens gehad over de prachtige en unieke locatie in Roermond!!</p>

      <p>Het eten is echt lekker en verzorgd.</p>

<p>Zaak is sfeervol en gezellig ingericht.</p>

<p>En wat de lokatie betreft vind ik het heerlijk om daar op het terras te zitten.</p>

<p>Lekker rustig en geen geraas van het verkeer zoals je aan de roerkade wel hebt.</p>

<p>Vind het personeel inclusief eigenaar vriendelijk en oprecht.</p>

<p>Zullen er vast nog eens naar toe gaan.</p>

Dán zou dit voorval weer een stuk duidelijker zijn, enne... als je het zélf allemaal zo goed weet, snap ik niet dat JIJ geen horeca-zaak bestiert?!       <p>Op een zomerse voorjaarsavond willen we een hapje eten. Rond 20.00u bereiken we Faubourg. Op het terras 3 tafeltjes met in totaal 6 personen, binnen 6 andere eters. Op onze vraag om een tafeltje en twee stoelen bij te zetten op het terras buiten, volgt het antwoord: "Dao hob ich geine zin in" Toen hadden we gewaarschuwd moeten zijn, maar neen, de waard vindt het ook nog nodig om ons het volgende toe te voegen: "Es ger binne wilt eate, dan doert dat minstens een oer" Verbijsterd druipen we af. We hadden dus letterlijk buiten de waard gerekend! Duidelijk is dat deze lompe, norse, onvriendelijke en arrogante heer? Totaal ongeschikt is voor het horecavak. Hij mist nl. De basiseigenschap, nodig in het horecawezen: gastheerschap.</p>

      <p>Heerlijk eten, smaakt zoals het hoort! Het vlees is van heel goede kwaliteit.</p>

<p>Bijzonder leuke ambiance, de franse sfeer van het pleintje in de voorstad is super.</p>

<p>Een plek om terug te blijven komen!</p>

      <p>Vandaag geweldig lekker gegeten hier. We waren vroeg, dus het was nog rustig. De bediening was in voor een lach, altijd prettig. Prima ook dat hier wordt nagedacht over het eten: ' als de kikkerbillen groot zijn, serveren we er 4 in plaats van de 5 die op de kaart staan, het moet wel een voorgerecht blijven'.</p>

<p>Kwekkerte-batskes; lekker, met topsaus. Wildj Koppel: perfect. Carpaccio: als in Italie en de beenham was ook nagenoeg perfect.</p>

<p>Hier komen we zeker nog eens terug.</p>

      <p>Eigenaar is niet geschikt voor de horeca, uiterst onvriendelijk naar kinderen, kan niet mogelijk zijn dat hij kinderen heeft, maar dat terzijde.</p>

<p>De sate is inderdaad goed en royaal, maar beste man zet er een paar glimlachende mensen neer en wij komen misschien nog een keer.</p>

      <p>Gisteren voor de eerste keer bij Faubourg gaan eten. Dit omdat ik van steeds meer mensen hoorde dat je hier lekkere spare-ribs kunt eten. En ja hoor, de spare-ribs waren heerlijk! Evenals de saté!</p>

<p>Hier kom ik in het nieuwe jaar zeker weer eens eten!</p>

      <p>We hebben heerlijk gegeten de voorgerechten waren van zeer.</p>

<p>Goede kwaliteit vooral de tomaten soep die krijg je zo nergens.</p>

<p>De hoofdgerecten waren pima in orde, helaas was er geen plaats meer voor het nagerecht. Ga zo door, we komen zeker terug.</p>

      <p>Heel lekker gegeten, prijs was in orde.</p>

<p>Sate is een aanrader, maar zo te zien smaakte het de andere gasten ook prima!</p>

<p>Helaas was de eigenaar wat intimiderend....</p>

<p>Niet echt open in zijn begroeting, maar goed elk vogeltje zingt zoals.... enz.</p>

<p>Maar prima restaurantje, en hele leuke lokatie qua uitzicht als je op het terrasje zit!</p>

      <p>Heerlijk! We zijn geen wekelijkse vaste klant, maar gaan er toch een aantal keer per jaar eten. De twiefel miks is echt overheerlijk en het water loopt me alwaar in de mond, terwijl we pas twee weken geleden zijn geweest. Voor diegenen die 'zeuren'over de kindvriendelijkheid: er zijn genoeg restaurants gericht op kinderen met speelhoekjes enz, voor mensen zonder kinderen is het juist ook een verademing dat je rustig kunt uit eten. Ook voor pa en ma zelf lijkt me dit toch wel eens lekker?</p>

<p>En op de website staat ook vermeld dat het geen restaurant is dat gericht is op kinderen.</p>

      <p>Het eten was niet verkeerd, maar veel te duur en kinderen zijn hier niet echt welkom was ook wel te merken aan de eigenaar dus voor ons niet voor herhaling vatbaar. Kinderen zijn ook mensen.</p>

      <p>We zijn hier een paar keer wezen eten. Tot op heden is het prima bevallen. Ja...je moet soms even wachten op een tafeltje maar dat zegt ook veel over de kwaliteit van de keuken. Kwaliteit van het eten is zeer goed en de prijzen zijn acceptabel.</p>

      <p>Een aantal jaren geleden gingen wij iedere vrijdagavond eten bij Faubourg, gewoon omdat het eten geweldig is en de sfeer aangenaam prettig en gezellig.</p>

<p>Nu hebben we inmiddels een dochtertje van 4 en is het helaas niet meer mogelijk om er iedere vrijdagavond naartoe te gaan. Maar als we dan weer eens lekker gaan uit eten is en blijft onze eerste keus Faubourg. Top!</p>
